Daily Duties at United States Congress House Of Representatives:
Headed homes state offices; political liaison to local community. Developed public relations. Attend all events in District put forth by constituents, government leaders and business leaders. Monitor all issues within District - i.e. safety - flooding, waste disposal, transportation, etc. Responsible to direct Congressman Crane’s home state offices. Key liaison between the Congressman and his constituents. Represented and/or accompanied the Member in numerous events and meetings throughout the District as directed. Developed public relationships with state senators, state representatives, mayors, village presidents, chamber of commerce, local officials, business leaders, constituents, etc. Met and shared learning with other Congressional Directors in Washington for U.S. House Forums put forth by U.S. House Leadership. Identified POV for legislative projects assisting in maximizing efficient use of resources through partnership between federal, state and local governments. Processed large amount of public information such as Daily Tax Legislative Update and internal White House Updates to extrapolate implications and meanings and communicate with constituents as required.
