Daily Duties at Paetec Communications:

Data – IP Service Product Development Manager Execute management of the IP Data service design and service portfolios. Responsible for evaluating the SLR’s from customer and market demand resulting in the appropriate modification of services from a metrics, architecture, processes or toolset point of view. Creating and addressing any and all contractual requirements – RFPs, RFQs and contract executions as is necessary. Responsible for vendor management. Work with ROI and Gross margin to assure productivity of solution set within a changing market. Modify existing service pipeline and portfolio products to meet appropriate needs. Actively manage current portfolio products - Managed Data service products (IP, Ethernet, MPLS, E-Mail, NPR, Hi-Cap Data Products) and their $52MM / $23MM revenue stream. Implement new processes like that of the Alcatel/ Lucent Gateway platform capacity monitoring and Eng processes. Engage in monthly / quarterly reporting as departmental requirements. Deliver complete product packages from idea to customer – to include BSS integration, pricing, projections, training, OSS, staffing, commission incentives and education for sales. Manage multiple cross-functional teams to accomplish corporate goals and initiatives. Continually evaluate risk vs. needs and tracking methodologies. Leverage the ITIL, PMI processes and best practices where applicable to accomplish goals. Sr. National Technical Training Manager Responsible for the management and coordination of resources to execute team deliverables across the national footprint. Execute employee management and administration. Work with business units and stakeholders to appropriately assess curriculum needs / requirements and create the Scope and SOW documents. Leverage SOW to develop curriculum outline and deliver product. Develop and deliver training and mentoring programs for other less experienced individuals performing technical activities as is necessary – sales – Engineer – Executive – Customer. Act as engineering level technical resource as needed for sales teams.
