Daily Duties at J. Solow Brokerage Inc.:
I was responsible for delegating the work load to the various department managers while assisting with client correspondence. If a client was purchasing a new vehicle, I would get the necessary information to our personal (auto) lines department in order to expedite the issuance of the ID card. When a client purchased a high end piece of jewelry or fine art, I would confirm with the personal lines department that the respective item was added to the client’s valuable items policy. I was responsible as well for the deliverance of proper information to the commercial (Business) lines department so that coverage was always up to date or policies were issued on a timely basis. Finally, I always followed up with our claims and billing departments to ensure clients were in good standing and their claims were being paid in a satisfactory way. I would, from time to time, visit clients to discuss their renewals plus any new insurance needs they had.
