Daily Duties at Windsor Health Plans:

Review medical information, claims for purpose of medical case management of patients with diagnoses related to oncology, cardiology, hematology, and pediatrics; patients requiring solid organ or bone marrow transplants. Coordination of benefits, services and resources for all aspects of patient care. Work closely with providers to assure optimum care for patients under my management. Demonstrated extensive knowledge of ICD-9, CPT codes.Responsible for assisting Director of Pharmacy in administration of Part D Medicare Pharmacy Benefit. Reviewed prior authorization requests and denied or approved based upon policies and procedures, medical criteria within the plan. Educate physicians and other providers regarding Medicare Part D.
