Daily Duties at Cmi Corp:
• Played an integral role in production operations for road-building heavy equipment, effectively interpreting complex engineering plans and participating in the complete product development lifecycle. • Demonstrated a consistent eye on identifying process improvements and cost savings by designing jigs and fixtures to maximize quality and repeatability. My job was to ensure the manufacturability and the production of Road building heavy equipment. Review & Implement engineering plans to production. The Steps to this include taking the product from raw material, to piece parts, to subassemblies, to finished goods. Also I was involved in routing every part thru the process, and costing the equipment, as well as designing jigs and fixtures to maintain quality and repeatability. I was also in Quality for some time, I over seen the machine shop where we held +/- .0002 that’s very close I was involved in the weld processes assembly, fab, paint, and testing. including red line engineering drawings to keep production running.
