Daily Duties at Astro Air:

I had oversight of 3 manufacturing plants that produced commercial and residential ‘heat exchangers’ evaporators and condensing air coils. My duties included managing a workforce of approximately 500 employees. We had the ability to produce over 100,000 tube and fin heat exchangers a month. I was heavily involved in developing production schedules for all 22 fin press lines, this aloud us to reduce setups and increase run time and production. i was also heavely involed in the relocation of one of our plants to a new build. Some of my duties included but not limited to, capacity planning, plant layout and realignment, equipment purchases, assembly sequence, training, measured everything so we could hone in and focus on the real issues• Proficiency in multi-site plant operations, as well as project manager on multiple projects. • Exemplary interpersonal skills to empower cross-functional personnel, motivate teams and elevate morale to achieve productivity excellence

What they like about Astro Air:

A hiring company that offers alternative approaches to pay, performance bonuses, and/or equity in the firm is very attractive to you. You're generally less interested in working for an organization offering only traditional, salary-based compensation, one with limited opportunity to acquire equity in the firm, or one that does not actively promote skill development. In addition, you are more likely to choose a company that offers a variety of internal career options, with defined career paths. You view the learning of new skills and development of your expertise as key to your career advancement. These aspects of an organization may become even more important to you as you progress in your field, and are especially critical if you change career or occupation.
