Quality Control Assistant Supervisor (3M Coordinator Assistant/collateral duty) for entire General Electronics Maintenance Division at Chambers Field Military Airport. Supervising eight electronic technicians, oversaw corrective and preventive maintenance of navigational equipment and communications and security systems, including Weapons Depository serving Atlantic Fleet Region. Contributed to manuals containing instructions for installation, operation, maintenance, and support of weapon systems, weapon system components, and support equipment. USS Leyte Gulf (CG-55) (2005 - 2007) Re-established Damage Control (DC) Division's 3M program, maintaining over 2500 pieces of DC equipment. Provided training to 14 DC Petty Officers and Command Officers. Primary IFF and SLQ-20 Technician holding Secret Clearance. Accomplishments: • Awarded an “Admiral Letter of Commendation” granted by Carrier Strike Group Admiral for success in bringing ship back into battle conditions during combat maneuver when entire primary radar and targeting system shut down. • Selected to presume duties of 2M Specialist, and placed in charge of supervising entire retrofitting, upgrades and repairs of TACAN, IFF and SPS-49 radars. Managed, under supervision of commanding officer, $55,000 open purchase account and SERVMART budget account. Efforts resulted in being included in Command Advancement Program (CAP) in recognition of performance under rigorous operating environment. • Led efforts to improve damage control material condition, raising overall grade on 3M inspection to 92%. • As Command's Fitness Assistant Coordinator, saved over $12,000 in repair costs of fitness equipment.
