Daily Duties at Louisiana Economic Development:

• Coordinate and Facilitate meetings with business and government entities • Handle all necessary arrangements for Louisiana Economic Development conferences, seminars, and training programs in the Southwest Region (venue, sponsors, speakers, agenda…etc) • Help plan state wide conferences, seminars and training programs sponsored by LED and the Governor’s office • Help communities and economic developers respond to Request For Proposals from site selectors and business prospects • Assist in coordinating site visits • Communicate daily correspondence via e-mail, fax, phone or letter to local economic developers, Chambers of Commerce, public officials, and other organizations on the programs and efforts of LED • Counsel businesses on all aspects of business needs • Speak to local associations, organizations and business groups about LED activities and incentive programs • Keep daily records on regional director’s activities
