Daily Duties at Engineering Forensics Group:
As senior forensics civil engineer, analyzed twelve traffic accident reconstruction cases either in pre-litigation or litigation to determine how and, if possible, why the accident happened. Investigated, analyzed and reconstructed the vehicular traffic collisions based on the physical evidence like the vehicle’s event data recorder, accident scene physical evidence like tire marks, police accident reports and vehicular impact damage. Also, researched in the relevant transportation engineering technical publication to find the appropriate federal or state statute, standard or guideline to determine if an alleged highway defect partly caused the plaintiff’s injuries. Prepared technical reports, reviewed hundreds of depositions, and provided expert opinions for use by attorneys.
