Daily Duties at Ivax Inc.:

Responsible for the QA areas that include: In coming inspection, In-Process and Finished Products release to packaging and Pack Product released, it includes use of statistical tools for decision-making. Responsible for investigations related to deviations during manufacturing and or packaging processes. Part of the responsibility is the audits to different areas for compliance with Regulatory Agencies (FDA, DEA or OSHA). Write and/or review of SOP’s and product batch records. The responsibility includes supervision of exempt personnel for the different areas of responsibility. Provide training for Quality related issues and to new company personnel. Support to Technical operations in the new products launch from the Quality Assurance group and interdisciplinary group for special projects. Special assignment in API Industry (Guayama): Record review and product approval according to commitments of the company with Food and Drug Administration. IVAX representative for analytical laboratory documents evaluation and approval for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients. Assistance to investigators for manufacturing, packaging, laboratory and stability laboratory and assure appropriate documentation and follow up. Analyze quality data to identify trends and to provide assistance in Corrective and Preventive Actions. Participate in the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) Team and in the Material Review Board (MRB) Committee.
