Daily Duties at Nish:

As a Senior Pricing Analyst I used my 15 years of business intelligence in pricing, workforce structure and development to help NPAs compile contracting price and technical responses to how the contracts were executed meeting budget and contract requirements. I helped standardize pricing, using commercial standards for price adjustments required from either negotiations or modifications. The standardization also helped the NPAs compete in the commercial market for non-AbilityOne work. My portfolio of projects included 70 NPAs that customers that covered a significantly representative numbers. During this period, the regional inventory increased in value from $160 million, a fifth of the national agency’s value. In 2005 I was promoted to Project Manager, responsible for a specific customer. For 2 years I managed the region’s oldest customer which included a $19 million contract portfolio. I was the regional Point-of-Contact PBS/NISH Strategic Alliance. I was solely responsible managing the customer relationship with the government and the NPAs who held contracts with this agency. I conducted all contract negotiations, pursued business development opportunities. I supervised a NISH Project Analyst who supported our business unit in developing the pricing and technical responses for solicitations. During my tenure in this position the value of the portfolio increased to $29 million. My promotion to Senior Project Manager in 2007 coincided with my selection by regional management to form a technical support team. The team provides assistance beyond typical contract management. I provide NPAs regulatory oversight to ensure Federal Acquisition Regulation compliance, general procurement and the Service Contact Act counseling; US Department of Labor statues in workforce and safety issues as well as AbilityOne regulations set forth in the Code of Federal Regulations. I am also the subject matter expert on the Green Workplace, Green Cleaning and sustainability in the workplace. I perform price analysis, WBS analysis with a special focus on integrating the disabled worker into the competitive workforce, compliance assistance, regulatory training for the NPAs and introductory presentations on the AbilityOne program for non-profits and government officials. I have developed audit processes for NPAs assuming new contracts or contracts in new lines of business or of substantial size over their current contracts. These audits are designed to determine the agency’s operational, fiscal and managerial capabilities to add to new work.
