Daily Duties at Ibm Systems & Technology Group, System X Brand:

Lead diverse international and virtual teams of cross functional subject matter experts (Marketing, Finance, Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, etc,) in planning, execution, and delivery of products and services on defined roadmaps, directed activities related to compiling customer, industry, and business requirements for new product development. Accountable for ensuring all program/project/product deliverables met schedule, budget, and profit commitments, maintained product portfolios and roadmaps for Memory, Keyboards & Mice, Tape Backup devices, Power Solutions, Networking and High Speed Storage controllers. Created and presented key project decision checkpoints to senior executive management; managed external and internal vendor relationships; tracked resources used YTD; recorded and published agenda/minutes of weekly cross functional project office team meetings; and communicated project status to all team members, including, extended teams and executive management. Identified potential risks and impact, developed mitigation strategies, and maintained internal and external ISO audit ready records for all projects. Provided input to division budgeting process regarding subsequent year’s asset allocations.
