Daily Duties at Climate Master:

• Spearheaded manufacturing operations for two facilities, effectively supervising 350 employees at Climatemaster and 70 personnel at Koax. directed/planned fabrication and assembly, also maintenance. • Demonstrated success as a ‘Practical’ Manufacturing Engineer over the past 15+ yrs, with the duties of Plant layout and process flow of both manufacturing and warehouse layout and design using Auto-Cad. I also have extensive experience in designing fixtures and quick change tooling for Improved Quality, Repeatability, and Changeover/Setup Speed. • Championed and implemented countless Lean and Kaizen events with a very high success rate, through the involvement and buy in of the employees and front line supervisors. • I possess extensive knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, from the process and flow of sheet metal from 30,000lb coils though a CTL “cut to length” line for proper sheet size “scrap reduction”, though a CNC punch or Laser, across Press Breaks/folding machines, spot/tig/mig welding, powder paint/e-coat paint line and then to assembly where the sheet metal components are assembled, tested, cleaned, and inspected before being packaged and shipped. • Though the many years of manufacturing experience I possess the ability to analyze problems, identify the root cause and provide an effective solution. I have also chaired material review board “MRB” to determine if damaged parts or product were cost effective to fix/repair or scrap. • Demonstrated proficiency in strategic planning, scheduling, and organizational skills. • Proficiency in multi-site plant operations, as well as project manager on multiple projects. • Exemplary interpersonal skills to empower cross-functional personnel, motivate teams and elevate morale to achieve productivity excellence. • Possesses a very strong verbal and written ability to communicate, I have worked with Spanish speaking individuals for many years while I am not fluent I am able to communicate affectively. • Successfully demonstrated over 10 years of management/leadership experience. • Successfully implemented inventory control methods in both CP “component part” warehouses and FG “finish good” warehouses. • I championed 3 major building projects, 1 was a complete from the ground up construction of a 70,000+ sqft concrete tilt up warehouse where I works side by side with the GC general contractor and job site superintendent. 2 project was to completely gut an abandon manufacturing facility top to bottom, removal of all the equipment off the roof and replace the roof 150,000sqft strip the inside down to the columns remove all asbestos modified the building to install docks and laid out the facility to be our finish goods warehouse. 3 project I was the GC on the project, this was a new startup company needing appx 70000sqft to 80000sqft for the total operation so on this one I had 1 building completely demolished and foundations removed and 1 build partly demolished installed new power coming in replaced 25000sqft of the floor in the building had all the lighting, gasses, electrical drop water, testing stations, offices, break room, bath rooms, docks built parking lot curbs and irrigation install for the landscaping, purchased and installed all the tools, equipment, and jigs/fixtures need for startup layout of the total facility from CP component part warehouse, assembly line, FG finish good warehouse to parking and trucking lanes. • I was also the go to guy for our corporate office, if one of our sister companies had manufacturing problems they would call me to ask question or have me stop by the facility and see if I could offer help to overcome the problem. • I have also travel to Mexico to copper mills to negotiate cost of produce and procurement, I have been to China for do diligent on a possible purchase of manufacturing plant there in China. I have also travel to Japan and was invited to visit a dozen plants to see their lean manufacturing/best practices
