• Research focuses on cancer chemoprevention: Characterization of anti-cancer capability of naturally occurring compounds/ dietary substances in chemical carcinogenesis model. The long-term goal of the research was to look on molecular and cellular biology, biomarker assessment in carcinogen induced liver, breast and colon cancer model. • Research involves the study of the role of different anti-oxidants vitamins and trace element vanadium in the prevention of hepatocarcinogenesis • Studied the role of chemopreventive potential of vanadium and beta-carotene in rat liver carcinogenesis. • Mentored and trained undergraduate and master students of pharmaceutical Technology in various experimental techniques
