Provide patient education.students, on the clinical hospital floor, developing patients care plans, including assessments evaluations, and nursing diagnoses with students.I was responsible for 8 students on the clinical floor of the hospital at bayhealth. The responsible of the patients i took for the students became not only the primary nurse responsible but mine also.All the main nurse duities are needed and more. The instructor must not only please the unit she and her student are working on but also the nurses,management, the patient and the student. The LPN program is a year program and 5 days a week, plus. Clinical instructors provide insight on methods and practices for use by professionals in the healthcare, health services and academic work environments. In a clinical learning environment, instructors work with students and faculty to ensure the continued education of aspiring nurses, health practitioners and service providers. This position requires instructors to have a love of the profession for which they provide instruction along with an appreciation of academics. instructors provide training to students and facilities about standard methods of nursing practice including professional nursing features, physiology and psychodynamic theories, and functional health patterns. In addition, clinical instructors conduct nursing interventions and observe medical, surgical and allied health treatments to facilitate workplace learning while preparing, administering and grading examinations to determine student performance and achievement.Nurse instructors, also known as nurse educators, teach patient care in classroom, laboratory and clinical settings to nursing students and other working professionals Nurse Instructor Job Description Nurse instructors teach student nurses or other professionals in classroom, laboratory and clinical environments utilizing an approved curriculum and visual aids.
