Brought in to a beta-test mortgage modification production program to manage, supervise and train mortgage modification processors. The initial time from hire to production when I started was between six weeks and 2 months. Starting with a directive to train and supervise 10 inexperienced direct reports and coach them up to regular production, once the first team performed at the upper ten percent of production, the directive changed. As a result, I trained 6 teams of 10 direct reports each in sequential blocks of approximately 3 weeks from hire to production. The trained associates are all in place and, collectively, represent a majority of the unit production. This resulted in an audited quality control result of 97.5% accuracy and production which aided Urban Lending Solutions in obtaining an extension of its contract with Bank of America and a change from per capita compensation to a payment per file processed.
