Interfaced with all other MPEA departments to ensure construction projects did not disrupt on-going facility operations. Acted as direct contact with other public and intergovernmental agencies. Liaison between MPEA staff and design engineers and contractors on construction projects. Administered and oversaw environmental remediation and construction activities. Reviewed and approved contractor applications for payment and schedule of values. Analyzed contractor requests for use of allowance funds, determined entitlement, and recommended or denied payment. Performed quality control checks ensuring work was completed as planned and conformed to specified requirements. Scheduled and chaired weekly coordination meetings with consultants, design engineers, and contractors. Assembled necessary documents from design engineers and contractors for record purposes. Documented project events and decisions.
