Daily Duties at Temple University:

Come up with research projects, convey my ideas to my supervisor, set up experiments, and report my findings to the principal investigator, trouble shooting protocols and instrumentation, and optimization of techniques.Data collection and analysis.Presentation of scientific data at laboratory meetings.Writing progress reports to supervisors. Manuscript preparation and submission. Mentoring students (graduate/summer)-This could range from teaching novices a single technique or mentoring an entire project.This is in addition to my main endeavors. We had one supervisor/primary investigator that I reported to, we had one post doctoral fellow in the lab and two technicians and two fellow graduate students.
