1.) Researches, develops, and leads print/pattern graphics direction for assigned areas each season to ensure creative, trend-right textile designs. 2.) Develops and implements pattern flow by delivery date to ensure cohesive, progressive merchandise statements for assigned area. 3.) Manages and coordinates workload by determining and assigning private brand projects, and acquiring and managing freelance assistance as appropriate. 4.) Create saleable, profitable textile designs for assigned private brands and ensures quality textile design execution. 5.) Performs seasonal sales analysis for assigned area and applies that knowledge to future textile design development strategies. 6.) Oversees the training and continuing education of the textile designers, researchers, and provides studies of the latest techniques and technical advances in textile graphic design, and makes recommendations based on those findings. 7.) Composes and communicates studies of the newest techniques in textile and surface design creation, supporting technologies, and execution.
