Daily Duties at Express Scripts / Medco Health Solutions:
• Selected to participate in a new office visit program promoting the advantages of electronic prescribing to physicians and nurses in their private offices. This project required 40% travel in Virginia and North Carolina. Ranked 7th out of 23 team members in 1st quarter 2012 for number of physician office contacts made per day. This program was preceded by another national office visit initiative aimed at increasing mail order utilization. Positive changes in market share exceeded in Virginia/North Carolina territory. Held solely accountable for territory results. • Contacted physician offices via phone nationwide from work-at-home site obtaining managed care interchanges and making prior authorization determinations.
