Daily Duties at Ashland Distribution, Division Of Ashland, Inc.:
Chosen to lead distribution, transportation, logistics and manufacturing functions at the largest automotive chemical manufacturing and distribution center. Ensured regulatory compliance through programs for DOT, OSHA, EPA Hazardous Material and Large Quantity Generator of Hazardous Waste, OSHA’s Process Safety Management (PSM) and EPA’s Risk Management Program (RMP). Personally managed Six Sigma Green Belts and respective Six Sigma quality projects. Administered $12M expense budget and $6M capital budget with $14M in physical inventory and $30M in physical assets. Provided decisive leadership to 100 direct and indirect reports.
