Daily Duties at Kemira Chemicals:
Directed the distribution, logistics and transportation activities for 200 shipping locations and 500+ destinations for the US, Canada and Mexico. Managed $50M annual freight budget for 4K+ hazardous and non-hazardous shipments per month for liquid bulk tanker, LTL and truck load van trailer. Scope of diverse accountability included leading all sourcing, contract negotiations, carrier relationships, transportation lanes, RFQ, RFI and RFP. Oversaw team of direct and indirect reports of Logistics Specialists and Transportation Planners.
