ACTR (Activity Customer Technical Representative) for Navy BRAC PMO Program. First point of contact for over 110 BRAC PMO users. Security manger of the network share drives for over 110 users in East coast and west coast. Setup of ACL (access control list on all files and folders on the share drives. Addition of user accounts and managing the inventory and seat refresh. Troubleshooting users issues with computers and software. Managing the web site with addition of files. VTC administrator as well as telecommunication. Blackberry and cell phones manager. VIP support for Navy SES 24/7. Brown bag session for presentation of IT upgrades or addition of services like remote WiFi connection. Training of users for all IT related issues. Supervisor for the field services and other IT personnel for all the program related issues. Managing and support and training of the users at the remote site on phone or by traveling to the sites for seat refresh or yearly check. • Proven ability in providing computer help desk support via telephone communications with end-users. • Performs diagnostics and troubleshooting of system issues, documented help desk resolutions, and maintained equipment inventory lists. Supports users with computer related questions and problems. • Provides BRAC PMO Web support. Supports the Navy BRAC PMO users with IT related tasks. • Submits Electronic requests (MAC) for variety of tasks for NMCI users. Handles administration, installation, training, and support of client/server hardware, software, peripherals, and networked systems. • Communicates with audiences while coordinating information systems and telecommunications services. • Provides network related project management; analyzes ROI of upgrades via evaluation of new systems. • Routinely provides IT solutions by installing hardware/software and maintaining desktop peripherals. • Follows standard operating procedures for administration and maintenance of end-user accounts. • Responsibilities include accurate diagnosis for clients regarding their desktops and application installs. • Provides Level I troubleshooting on PC applications. Troubleshoots hardware, software, and network issues. • Develops and maintains up-to-date documentation of IT applications, systems, and networking equipment. • Troubleshoots Windows client and server operating system problems. Configures local and network printers. • Participates in recurring leadership and IT management meetings, as well as any day-to-day IT meetings. • Trains end-users to handle different software applications; logs issues in the help desk tracking system. • Provides software training on an individual and small group basis with regards to new computer systems. • Plays a key role in ensuring a proficient workforce and significantly reducing total system downtime. • Trains Help Desk team on specific and detailed software installation procedures and hardware issues. • Follows standard operating procedures for the administration and maintenance of end-user accounts. • Management recognized as IT lead for the BRAC PMO Program and Security+ Certified trusted agent.
