Daily Duties at Bock Construction :
Pay roll ,taxes, work comp, employee training installation of new homes throughout the southwest HOMES RANGED IN SIZE FROM 1300 SQURE FEET TO 2600 SQUARE FEET, I COORDINATE UP TO 7 HOMES PER WEEK THROUGHOUT NEW MEXICO AND WEST TEXAS I SCHUEDULE DELIVERIES OF HOMES AS WELL AS PULL ALL CITY, COUNTY ,AND STATE PERMITS FOR TRANSPORTATION ,I ALSO DELIVER HOMES MYSELF WHEN NEEDED ,I CONDUCT SITE INSPECTIONS PRIOR TO DEL OF HOMES AFTER HOMES ARE DEL WE START THE SET UP PROCESS WHICH INCLUDES THE USE OF A BULL DOZER TO PLACE HOMES IN REMOTE LOCATIONS,ONCE HOME IS PLACED ON FOUNDATION WE BLOCK AND LEVEL HOME LAG BOLT THE HOME TOGHETHER WITH 3/8”X6” LAG BOLTS, REMOVE AXLEXS AND HITHCES, INSTALL ROOF FLASHING THEN SHINGLES ONCE WE GO TTO THE HOME INTERIOR WE INSTALL DRYWALL, FIX CRACKS IN DRYWALL THEN DO ALL TAPING AND TEXTURE WORK WE THEN PAINT THE HOME INTERIOR WITH 3 COATS OF SATIN FINISH PAINT AFTER WE REMOVE THE PLASTIC THAT IS COVERING THE HOMES CARPET WE STREACH AND SEAM CARPET TOGETHER WE THEN AJUST ALL THE DOORS AND WINDOW THAT MIGHT HAVE GONE OUT OF SQUARE FROM TRANSPORT, AFTER THAT WE CLEAN HOME CHECKING LIGHT FIXTURES AND CERAMIC TILE ,SINKS TOILETES WATER FIXTURES, PLUMBING AND ELECTRIC CROSSOVERS ) ,customer service CDL driving, drywall tape and texture,carpet install trim work, set doors and windows.
