Daily Duties at Wesco Distribution, Inc:
• Manage daily corporate liquidity (Multi million dollar responsiblity) to ascertain the lowest interest expense and to determine the highest potential cash balance investments for excess cash. • Expedite payment processing (normally 25-40 per day) via wire/ACH to obtain discount and inventory purchases and maintain additional responsibility for insurance request organization. • Reconciled to prior day cash balances to ascertain accounts funded and transactions posted. (100-125 Domestic and international bank accounts, ZBA structure) Solely responsible to manager, with limited to no supervision, daily, weekly, and monthly working capital needs. (Availablity ~ 340M, and fluctuation during the month of swings of 50M+/-) Handled foreign exchange transactions to lower risk to corporation and ascertain lowest rate was selected. (FX spot rates and forwards 4-6M per transaction)
