Responsibilities include day to day management and technical execution of all factual and legal research, analysis, and investigative work involving complex financial fraud schemes. -Use of commercial databases and internet research for data mining specific to individuals and corporations; -Perform asset searches; background checks; public records, and financial and regulatory reviews -In addition to legal research and data mining, review of mortgage origination files, loan files, contracts for sale and lease, title policies, lender closing instructions (CPL) as well as various legal and financial documents related to real estate transactions. -Coordinate research tasks with other investigators and paralegals in an effort to meet all deadlines in a timely fashion and provide clear concise reports that support investigation objectives. - Handle Federal Subpoenas from inception through receipt of requested information. Review, organize and manage subpoenaed information and provide summary reports of contents including analysis of information and it’s application to case. -Interact with clients to ensure their needs are understood and that our course of action fits their overall goals and are within budget. -Contact and interview potential witnesses. -Organize and create exhibits for use in litigation. -Testify in court as necessary. -Proficient use of Lexis Nexis for legal as well as factual research.
