Daily Duties at Hunter Douglas Metal Ceiling Division:
Set Sales strategy, sales budget, expense and marketing budgets for $ 20M division. Hire, train, and manage 28 independent manufacturer sales organization. Promote ceiling systems to major architect and engineering companies. I created and implemented an effective sales strategy to allow Hunter Douglas more share of the independent manufacturer's time and mind share by increasing the commission on the proprietary product offering that launching a lunch and learn promotion which included a company provided power point and a free sampling program. I introduced a quarterly review and forecast tool that assisted me in managing their productivity. I created and implemented a key account list of major accounts that Hunter Douglas would deal with on a direct sales model and allocate their sales to each Independent Sales rep on a reduced commission basis. I increased the number of national and regional trade shows that Hunter Douglas participated in on a direct sales basis.
