Daily Duties at Troxell Communications:

My role in the Contracts and Coops position was to identify all major ($ 1 million dollar +) national K-12 districts with existing or upcoming annual or multiyear AV contracts and work with the two Regional sales managers and the 65 Account executives to better position Troxell to close more business and increase sales revenue. If the contracts were existing, I would review the contract with Account Executive to make sure we were using the contract to the best extent possible. Many times the contracts can be used by other school districts or public entities to purchase from us without going out to bid. In addition, I would make a sales call with the account executive on customer to attempt to expand the products available to purchase or expand the length of the contract. Promote and close national and regional contracts with K-12 Coops. Promote and close contracts with Large K-12 public school districts. Set Sales Strategy for closing large public bids to large School Districts. I worked with the sales force to identify and set the bid strategy on any large school district multiyear bids. I contacted both national and regional coops and researched their potential sales impact for Troxell. I researched existing contracts with school districts and coops to see if there were any opportunities to expand our business without having to go to bid

What they like about Troxell Communications:

You give high priority to hiring firms with prestige. Market reputation and prestige of a firm may be determined through on-line research, and conversations with individuals working in your target industry. Note that firms "in the public eye" receive a great deal more critical publicity and attention than those operating with more anonymity. So as you assess your employment opportunities, be sure to seek out the positive aspects of the firm's reputation in addition to noting negative publicity the company may have received.
