Daily Duties at Itt Industries:
Duties: Engineered Large Area Network (LAN), fiber and cable diagrams for communications networks for Iraqi Survey Group, Multi-National Forces Iraq, 3rd Infantry and 1st Armored Divisions Middle East region. Installed fiber applications for Joint World Wide Internet Communications Systems. Hand on experience with fusion splicing and fiber optic connectivity applications. Experienced with fiber Optical Time Domain Reflector (OTDR) and Fluke Omni scan test equipment Restructured the entire LAN Non-secure and Secure internet protocol network for the Iraqi Survey Group and Multi-National Forces Iraq. Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and remote access service. Configured and installed desktop, laptop, and printers in a network environment.
