Daily Duties at Cassia Region Medical Center:

Supervisor of special chemistry department, peformed quality controls, tracked trends and made adjustments as needed. Worked as generalist on 2nd shift working mainly solo and then as team member. During my shifts performed daily, weekly and monthly maintanence as needed, quality controls on insturments in hematology, chemistry, urinealysis, coagulation, blood banking, special chemistry. Excellent phlebotomy skills on newborns to geratric patients, excellent at arterial blood draws. Performed EKG's, set up special testing and send outs as doctors required. Utilized Misys and Smart Term computer systems.Checked reagents on weekly basis and determined the amount to order for the next period based on the average number of tests performed.Performed maintanance and minor equipment improvements and as able.
