Daily Duties at Njvc Llc:
Managed staff of 6, reviewed work, perfomred reviews, and coach staff on problem solving. Responsible for recruiting staff and providing them applicable training with Oracle 11i and 12. Documented producivity and looked for areas of improvement with the Oracle modules. Developed and recommend policy and procedures to govern the payment of company bills to the advantage of the organization in terms of cash flow and discounts. Audited, verfied and reveiwd expense report for compliance and invoices to ensure accuracy of sales tax and/or use tax liabilities. Assisted in the development of Purchasing and Accounting policies and procedures as well as identified “best practices” in order to streamline the entire procurement proces. Highly involved with vendor relationships and took part in daily communications with departments to further streamlined the two-way and three-way purchase order match process. Performed monthly account reconcilliation on all cash accounts. Supervised and reconciled the US Bank/American Express credit card and purchasing card program and coordinated employees inquiries and disputes. Prepared sales and use tax returns for multiple states, and controlled the W9’s and 1099’s process as well as reporting of independent contractors. Coordinated and closed end of the month books for the Accounts Payable Department.
