Daily Duties at Hubbell, Inc.:

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: HUBBELL, INC, Greenville, SC (November 2002 – Present) System Analyst, Payroll (March 2010 – Present) • Schedule, review and troubleshoot all payroll interface data including daily ADP Connection (HR data from SAP) and weekly benefits data interface from outside vendors. • Analysis of data integrity, including coordination for correction where data is not in sync. This includes validation of HR data from SAP to ADP, local ADP data files to master files at ADP and eTime data. • Reconciliation of stock entries posted in payroll • ADP eTime data maintenance, including employee changes, payroll schedule requests, accrual updates and pay data export files. • Creation of new reports in ADP Reportsmith, Excel and eTime as needed / requested • Year end reconciliations including clearing, loading and validating benefit deductions, special deductions such as United Way and paid time off accruals. • Primary contact for payroll for Service Desk tickets. Queue monitored and issues addressed daily. Senior Payroll Coordinator (January 2008 – March 2010) In January 2008, all payroll services were consolidated into a Payroll Services Team. A total of nine processors were responsible for all payroll transactions for all Hubbell employees in the United States (~8,000 employees). • Responsible for processing pay for approximately 600 employees. Weekly codes included union and non-union facilities. Semi-monthly codes included bonuses, commissions, tuition reimbursement and severance. • Responsible for verification of severance payments to ensure that no payments were missed or overpaid. • Created payroll checklist with input from payroll team members to ensure that all payrolls were processed correctly. This also provided a summary of backup information pertaining to the payroll. • Responsible for maintaining wage garnishments and ensuring that all interrogatories were answered within the required time frame. Benefits Administrator (August 2004 – January 2008) • Administered FLEX benefits for ~2,000 employees including monthly invoice reconciliation (self funded plan). • Created and presented Open Enrollment presentations for all employees including sites in California, Illinois, Pennsylvania and Arkansas and web casts for off-site sales employees. • Provided electronic forms and brief description of all benefit plans available via Intranet for on-site and off-site employees. Plan summaries were provided in English and Spanish. • Administered FMLA and STD for ~900 employees. Initiated changes in FMLA policy to reduce the amount of abuse by utilizing Federal Guidelines for compliance. Initiated automated tracking. • Discontinued outsourcing Cobra and administered in-house for ~75 former employees thus saving the company ~ $900 per month plus collected 2% administrative fee. Significantly reduced the amount of time company carried non-paying participants. • Selected as SAP instructor for HR management and support personnel for lighting platform and designed test scripts for SAP/ADP feed verification. • Designated SAP data validator for Human Resources Lighting Platform. Human Resources Assistant (November 2002 – August 2004) • Wrote Access database to computerize employee attendance records • Initial screening of all resumes (and subsequent tracking via Access database for eeo purposes) • Wrote Access and Excel programs to track employee requisitions, company vehicles, benefits and retirement. • Complied monthly safety and headcount reports for 17 facilities. • Administrator for facility credit cards.
