The candidate was the Proposal manager, and Chief Negotiator, of major business opportunity from Lockheed Martin, for a power supply systems on a major US Navy Shipboard Weapons Delivery System. As a result of the candidate's outstanding leadership, and negotiation skills, Varo was awarded a highly profitable contract valued at over $100M. The candidate also led the co-location of 2 separate operating divisions of Varo, into one facilty, thereby eliminating over $1M of overhead, and lease costs
