I hired on as a process engineer responsible for supporting pollution abatement and raw material delivery systems. Shortly after I started, the lead enviromental engineer resigned, so I also filled in as the environmental engineer for almost a year. I performed engineering calculations and coordinated dispersion modeling to support air permit modifications, led annual efficiency testing for pollution control equipment, and conducted internal audits to verify compliance. As a process support engineer, I attended daily production meetings and performed process troubleshooting as needed to maintain performance and ensure compliance with all permit requirements.
