Daily Duties at Amylin Pharmaceuticals:
I work in the Medical Affairs group at Amyiln Pharmaceuticals. I act as a communications liaison between the Medical and the Commercial/Marketing teams, facilitating open communication and strategic alignment between these teams. I support three marketed diabetes drugs and one compound in clinical development. I have been involved in annual brand and medical planning activities including generating SWOT analysis, strategic planning and tactical planning. Previously, at Amylin I was involved in implementing a strategy to manage medical presentations and I lead a cross-functional matrix team to prepare scientific presentations and insured that these materials were aligned with the current Amylin medical strategy and were compliant with legal standards. My achievements have been recognized by numerous R&D Leadership team awards.
