Trained nine controllers, four assistant controllers, and additional accounting staff Initiated standardized two day close procedure which allowed for timely financial reporting Assumed Controllership of five different properties while recruited, interviewed, & hired qualified candidates Supported properties with financial statement preparation, reconciliation, daily revenue audit, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, & SOX compliance Consulted with property management to improve interdepartmental, cross functional relationships by conducting meetings to keep associates informed and motivated
