Daily Duties at Cleveland Regional Medical Center:
Charged with operating as educator for 75 full-time employees; coordinated departmental and continuing education programs for O.R., PACU, Central Sterile Department, and Anesthesia. •Coordinate the establishment of competency validation programs and checklists in accordance with Federal & JCAHO guidelines with Clinical Unit Coordinator and/or Department Director. •Evaluate films, published materials, and external training programs for appropriateness, relevance, and cost. •Design and coordinate in-house research studies. •Serve on various in-house committees and participated in professional organizations. •Act as liaison between hospital & community participating in health education clinics, screenings, and health fairs.
