Daily Duties at Hawthorne Group, Star Cable Co:

This operation had offices in 7 states and 245 employees and I reported to the CFO and President.I had 14 employees as direct reports from the accounting, IT, operations, office, HR, payroll managers in these states. This was a fast growing company adding 22 acqusitions over 5 years. This included acqusition reviews, projecting cash flow improvements, site reviews with sellers to review financial /tax information and plant facilities to gather information for projections to determine the purchase price for a cable company. Maintain daily 38 bank accounts as treasurer and signed and reviewed 1000 checks/months for this organization. Trained employees and resolved all business issues by various departments on a daily basis.Responsibile for all accounting statements,payroll tax returns, sales tax returns, federal tax returns, CPA and state audits for multi-state operation,bank loan compliances, treasury and cash management
