Daily Duties at Heeter Printing Company:

This company employed 95 employees in two 40,000 sq ft warehouse locations and I reported to the Chairman, President and Executive Vice President on daily cash management reports ,supervised 6 employees directly, involving Accounting, Billing, accounts payable, human resourses/payroll.IT consultant and building maintenance.Reviewed with the officers daily on cash reports, weekly sales and provided monthly financial statements which was reviewed and sent to the bank commerical loan officers and reviewed monthly for our loan compliance. Also, I reviewed past due accounts on a daily basis for over 600 customers, increasing/ decreasing credit limits and acquired D&B reports and worked with 7 sales persons on a daily basis opening new accounts, gathered sales tax exempt certificates and set up customer credit limits into the computer software. Reviewed with the CPA firm, on a quarterly basis, financial statements to determine tax liability for tax estimates and completed completed audit information for annual CPA audits and bank audits. Reviewed accounts payables on a weekly basis to determine payments based upon cash available and forecasted cash on a monthly basis for bank credit line advances. Reviewed weekly and met with vendors for cost saving initiatives negotiating with suppliers better product discounts and rebates. Discussed weekly with the HR manager various employee issues and benefit programs. Responsibile for approval of all capital expenditures and discuss with the owners on a weekly basis before purchased was made. If necessary, acquired bank financing or discuss with commerical bank officers, purchases over $100,000 for approval. Worked with IT consulant on a weekly basis for various software and equipemnt problems for all employees, purchased equipment for new mainframe and EFI Pace software.Involved with solving all operation issues including equipment problems and commerical insurance issues. Also, on a monthly basis, provided projections to the officers on any new acquisitions after reviewing the sellers financial statements and tax returns. Once the decision was made to acquire the company,met with various attorneys and bankers on ageements and closed the deal with sellers and officiers. Merged ad obtained sellers customer information and sales reports into our billing software, worked with HR employees being hired. Resolved on a daily basis employee questions (15 per day) on operational, accounting, IT and marketing issues.
