Daily Duties at Morgan Stanley :

Responsibilities: • Writes test plans and test cases into Test Director • Developing test plans and test cases. • Track bugs and report defect using Test Director and Quality Center from Mercury Interactive. • Validated data for existing clients using Oracle SQL • Testing order management system using strong analytical and mathematical skills • Creating the Detailed test plans and executing it. • Developing UAT scripts for Documentum web-based applications (DCM and Web top) • Upload all UAT scripts in Documentum. • Implementing the test case and test process with project time frames. • Doing User Acceptance and End to End testing. • Validating database tables and parsing/comparing files. • Hires new employees. • Submit team’s progress report and high priority defects report for higher management weekly basis • Reviewing offshore requirements. • Work closely with business analyst and developers • Follow system development life cycle (SDLC) process • Manage testing efforts for multiple locations • Attending daily 4.pm defect prioritization meetings. Environment: Windows NT, Novel, Power Builder, C++, VB script, XML, Mercury Quality Center, Test Director, Mainframe, SQL, MS Excel, MS Office, Oracle and Java
