Daily Duties at Disaster Preparedness Vulnerability And Risk Assessment Consultants:
Facilitate specialized emergency preparedness and operations training. Develop instructional materials and make presentations to various groups to provide information on emergency plans and their implementation process. Train local groups in the preparation of long-term plans that are compatible with federal and state plans. Coordinate and conduct multi-jurisdictional training for first responders. Keep informed of activities or changes that may affect the likelihood of an emergency, as well as those that may affect response efforts and details of plan implementation. Forge and nurture partnerships with emergency management/preparedness organizations.
