You then have to figure away to get your material in to what needs to be corrected or completed. You need to watch the quality of your mens work as it is being done. We did the final alignment steel in all the stair ways, all window washing post on the roof that they hook to, ornamental steel through out the complete building, and all store front steel where for blocks where the windows attach to. Along with the pent house structure on the roof for the completion of our contract. This was over a 3 million dollar contract. Duties remain the you need site inspections daily safety walk first thing in the morning ,get all permits you need to work, get extinguishers out to be prepared for any fires, then start your paper work timesheets to let the client now where he is at schedule wise and cost wise. There should be a morning meeting on progress where everyone can bring up there problems. After noon you check the men’s work you may have 5 different areas To check see what their needs are for the next day to work productively. At quitting time make sure everything is locked up secure.
