Editorial: Reviewed upwards to 450 manuscripts a year for publishing, selected about 30 manucripts each year for publishing, proofread all material printed by the publishing house, oversaw the daily activities of the 5 person editorial department, responsible for the editorial quality of everything produced, assisted in the hiring of editorial personnel. Graphics: Responsible for the design, layout and quality of everything ptoduced by the company. Responsible for the training of the 4 person graphics department. Assisted in the hiring of the personnel for the department. Supervised the daily workload and activities of the department to ensure that deadlines were met in budget. Developed a yearly print schedule for the entire organization to ensure that projects were completed on time and was responsible to make sure that the different department involved (executive, editorial, graphics, accounting, marketing, advertising, and produciton) stayed on schedule, Was responsible to troubleshoot and resolve any operational or process glitches occurred.
