Daily Duties at Turbomecanica:

• Pioneered the computer-assisted design of gauges, calipers, and tools. Designed assembly technologies for Puma and Allouete helicopters, which were manufactured under Turbomeca license. Increased the reliability of the rotor testing system by conducting a detailed stress analysis. Reduced manufacturing costs by designing software for computer-controlled machine tools and high accuracy plotters. Designed assembly and control technologies for Spey and Viper jet engines manufactured under Rolls-Royce license. Designed manufacturing and control technologies for seals, pumps, compressor and turbine blades and vanes, gauges, calipers, splined-shafts, bearings, ISO Threads and UN threads (British standard). Performed stress analyses for engine parts and cylindrical and conical gears. Revised and improved Rolls Royce manufacturing technologies. Determined shaft critical speeds and imbalance and analyzed shock response. Analyzed mechanical and thermal stress in vanes, blades and disks, transient and steady state heat transfer. Performed elastic and inelastic stress analysis and fracture mechanics analysis.
