Determined the causes of LCAC gearbox and engine failures. Analyzed stress exerted on LCAC Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) bypass system, valves and pumps enhancing the ship reliability. Calculated heat transfer through components of LCAC air conditioning systems. Analyzed valve and duct corrosion. These studies enhanced the ship reliability and saved millions of dollars. Studied cargo transfer systems using multi-body dynamics.
