Staff Pharmacist/Pharmacy Manager, 5/2003-Present Walgreens Pharmacy, Lawrenceville, GA Managed pharmacy staff in dispensing over 1,000 prescriptions weekly. Consult with physicians and patients to insure proper medication usage and potential side effects. Aided physicians in establishing proper medication dosage and disease state management. Monitor patient profiles via medication therapy management and drug utilization reviews. Provide patient complaint resolution, quality assurance management and adherence to practices which promote customer satisfaction. Established department goals to aid in building employee morale and productivity and achieve company goals. Maintained adequate inventory and budget control to improve gross profit. Recommend and implement loss prevention controls and procedures to identify and minimize profit loss. Aided the company in conversion and training of an independent pharmacy chain to a Walgreens pharmacy.
