Daily Duties at Quad/Graphics, Inc:

Diverse responsibilities leading English-as-a-Second Language classes for different employee levels, as well as language instruction, daily business support and special projects requiring Spanish speaking/translation skills. As a result of the 2009 acquisition of a $2.2 billion international business, effective communications with Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Peru and Mexico became essential.  Provided VP of International with a variety of assistance, including leading one-on-one instruction, developing a self-study curriculum, translating documents and teleconference interpretation.  Developed ESL curriculum and led classes permitting Hispanics, Eastern Europeans, Hmong and others to be trained on press/production floor operations in answer to widening labor shortages.  Designed a very technical-based program for teaching Spanish to Managers and Professionals working with operations, venture partners and customers throughout Latin America.  Teamed with Human Resources on numerous documentation and translation activities, including confidential situations and sensitive terminations.  Assisted the presentation/facilitation of productivity initiatives in Lean Manufacturing and Managing Multi-Cultural Machine Teams, as well as leadership training programs.  Edited the Spanish version of a business management book written about the Founder/CEO.
