Daily Duties at Whole Foods Market:
Processed and tracked changes in salaries, status and terminations. Conducted trainings regarding various HR topics to Managers (as needed)Coordinated special events (employee appreciation activities, incentive contests etc.) Maintained and audited HR files to ensure compliance. Managed benefits administration and new enrollee orientation. Acted as a first point of contact for line managers and provided support in regards to employee questions, inquiries and complaints (COBRA,STD/LTD,LOA,FMLA, etc...). Trained, assisted, and monitored supervisors in completion of employee performance evaluations. Performed activities to evaluate staffing needs, hire or reallocate resources (including interviewing candidates, selecting candidates to proceed through the hiring process, facilitating the background check process, and extending offers). Managed and directed the on-boarding process (including coordination of training for new employees). Time and Labor Management via proprietary HRIS payroll software. Managed processing of bi-weekly payroll. Audited payroll output reports to ensure processing achieved intended results. Calculated and processed payroll compensation changes. Prepared various ad-hoc reports through HRIS and Peoplesoft software. Trained and supported 16 store managers with payroll and PTO related issues.
