Project leader for the net interest income (NII) budgeting and forecasting process of ABN AMRO’s $250 billion North America business unit. Policed budget output for discrepancies between historical performance and projections; conducted interviews to gain insight into departmental initiatives and product lines and worked with business budget leaders to improve the accuracy and integrity of budget output. Directed the activities of three (3) teams dedicated to financial reporting and measuring the financial impact of IAS39 hedging strategy for two investment portfolios (Fixed Income and Mortgage Servicing Rights). • Provide leadership and direction for employees responsible for the daily valuation of derivatives, a $30 billion fixed income portfolio and a $2.5 billion mortgage servicing rights (MSR) portfolio. Review and approve the results of effectiveness test for general ledger posting.
