Daily Duties at Manpower:
Engineering Database Administrator and Senior CAD Designer/Draftsman at IBM Corporation Maintained and Updated IBM Engineering Database (AUTOCAD Libraries) with Construction Upgrades Provide Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) services for Austin IBM Engineering, using AUTOCAD release 2009 software, all Trades (ARCHITECTUAL, ELECTRICAL, MECHANICAL – HVAC/PIPING) Provided CAD Support Working with Staff, Contractors, and Customers for Projects ranging from several hundred dollars to several million dollars. Assisted Engineers with Renovation Projects Turning Office Space into Raised Floor Clean rooms and Labs Field Investigated Piping Routes and Machinery Placement for New and Existing Raised Floor Clean rooms and Labs Developed Process Instrumentation Diagrams and Electrical Schematics Liaison between IBM Engineering and Construction Coordinator on Field Changes During the Construction Phases of Projects. Field Verified Installation of IBM Engineering Designs at Completion of Construction Projects. Space Planning – Provided Office/Lab Layouts to Staff, Working Together in Departmental and Team Groupings, Providing the Best Opportunity for Efficient Work Flow, Communication and Supervision.
